Canal Scene by Donald Maxwell (1887-1936) Original watercolour by the listed artist Donald Maxwell. The picture shows a steam narrow boat and is signed and dated 1930 in pencil by the artist. Donald Maxwell was the official artist to the Admiralty in the first world war and went on the exhibit 14 times at the Royal Academy. The picture measures 190mm x 150mm. Anthony Osler 1977, pen, ink and wash drawing Original drawing by well known artist Anthony Osler. He was born in Ipswich in 1938 and is a founder member of the East Anglian Group of Marine Artists. He has widely exhibited including many one man shows. There is a small repaired tear below the painted area and the top is close trimmed, otherwise in excellent condition. Image size 240mm x 150mm. Yarmouth Docks 1920 by Douglas Ion Smart Original pen and ink drawing by Douglas Ion Smart R.E. 1879-1970. Douglas Ion Smart was an etcher and watercolourist who studied under Sir Frank Short R.A, and exhibited at the Royal Academy over 70 times.
