| "Fishermen at anchor" signed limited edition lithograph by Ley Kenyon
Superb limited edition 48/195 lithograph by Ley Kenyon 'Fishermen at anchor' dating from around the late 1980s. Ley Kenyon was a prisoner in the famous Stalag Luft 111 in Zagan Poland at the time of the Great Escape on the 24 March 1944. As a skilled artist he was asked by the escape committee to make a visual record of 'Harry' the tunnel used in the escape. He made six drawings; these were later recovered and can now be found in the RAF Museum in Hendon. This is a terrific lithograph which will look stunning mounted and framed.
The picture is in excellent condition. Signed in pencil by Ley Kenyon bottom right. Size of engraved area 370mm x 260mm.
