Christopher Warner

Chris was born in Tunbridge Wells, Kent in 1948. He attended the Medway College of Art in the late 1960's, briefly, then took up a number of office based jobs before making a successful career as a freelance designer and illustrator.

These days Chris lives in Ramsgate and paints pictures, either out of a conviction that they are worth doing, or under commission, with a particular interest in marine or water-based subject matter.

If you would like Chris to undertake a commission of your boat, it can be from a photograph, please contact us and we will be happy to pass your details on.

Len Waghorn

Len was born in 1927 in Greenwich and many of his later works represent his childhood days there. Len started painting at a very early age and he can remember when, aged about 5, the family doctor Dr Argo gave him a shilling for a drawing he did of the Doctor on a piece of his grandfathers plywood.

The picture on the right hand side shows Len receiving a Highly Commended Award at the National Maritime Museum for one of his paintings of the 2003 Thames Barge Race.
