Unusual early folding copper plate map of Cambridge showing some of the colleges and halls, rare.  
 
The map, which has later hand colouring, has some text showing through from the reverse, mainly in the corners but otherwise in good condition. Size of engraved area 230m x 170mm.

Early folding copper plate map of 'Lambeth and Christ Church Parish Southwark' from around 1755. South of the Thames the map lists the residences of a number of prominent people and some street names, quite rare.  
 
The map, which has later hand colouring, has a small repaired hole to the right of the compass rose but otherwise in good condition. Size of engraved area 350m x 280mm.

Early folding copper plate map drawn and engraved by J Gibson for the Gents Magazine 1765. The map shows the roads from London to Bristol and Bath and Bristol to Bath & Worcester.
 
The map, which has later hand colouring, is a little grubby around the border and has a small repaired hole (second column from left one inch down), and a repair to the top right corner but generally in good condition for the age. Size of engraved area 300m x 180mm.

The map, which has later hand colouring, is a little grubby around the border and has a small hole (fifth column from left halfway down) but generally in good condition. Size of engraved area 300m x 180mm.

Rare folding copper plate map of London and Environs. The map goes from Colnebrook in the West to Gravesend in the East. Southerly it extends to Westerham in Kent and Hatfield in the North.

The map has original colour and apart from the borders being slightly grubby and a small hole at Upper Morden, only visible if held to the light (six boxes from the left and four boxes from the bottom), the map is in good condition. Size of engraved area 580m x 490mm.
